HYPAC

Why HYPAC?
HYPAC is dental hygiene's Political Action Committee. HYPAC enables dental hygienists to collectively support candidates for congress who share your interests. This joint effort provides a stronger voice for oral health care concerns.

What is HYPAC
ADHA’s PAC is a voluntary non-profit committee of dental hygienists, spouses, and citizens at large who are interested in participating in the political process by supporting federal elected officials of the House of Representatives and United States Senate.

How HYPAC Works
ADHA encourages and welcomes member input and recommendations as to which candidates should receive support from HYPAC. Candidate recommendations go to the Executive PAC Committee for review and selection.

The HYPAC Committee is directed by a three-member board of directors. The board is responsible for reviewing and selecting candidates to receive HYPAC support, as well as managing the fundraising and communication activities of the PAC.

HYPAC- The political action committee of ADHA is the only federal non-partisan PAC that represents dental hygiene, by helping elect pro-hygiene candidates for the U.S. House & Senate.

You Make the Difference
Dental Hygiene involvement in HYPAC makes a difference. Victories are made possible through the involvement of members like yourself and ADHA’s multi-faceted public policy initiatives.

HYPAC is a stand-alone fund established by ADHA. Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Voluntary contributions by individuals to HYPAC should be written on personal checks, although voluntary contributions from political action committees are permissible. Contributions from corporations are illegal and will be returned. Federal law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer name for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.

HYPAC participants receive a quarterly report about contributions to federal legislators.

Please support HY-PAC by making a single or quarterly contribution.  If you sign up to pay quarterly, you will receive reminders.

Please make checks payable to:

Be sure to include your name, address, occupation, and name of employer.
