AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION

Volunteer opportunities: Delegates are needed as advocates for diabetes issues. Delegates help to inform their state and local representatives about issues relating to diabetes. Training is provided. SPRINGFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS We
use dentists or hygienists to do the dental checks of our students so
they can be referred for dental treatments. The other areas of need
for screenings are checking blood pressure, heights, weights, vision
and hearing. We do this each year at our Health Fairs in September and
