THE CHILDREN'S SMILE CENTER IN OZARK MISSOURI
This newly developed non-profit Medicaid dental clinic provides dental services and education to children ages 4-12, who live in Christian and Stone counties. If you are interested in improving the dental health and education of future generations and would like to volunteer call 417-582-5439 or 417-209-4700.

AIDS PROJECT of the OZARKS

Volunteer opportunities: You are needed at the AIDS Project to help with transportation and various other client needs. The AIDS Project also has a newsletter and volunteers are needed to help with the mailings. If you're interested in getting involved, call or stop by the AIDS Project of the Ozarks today to make arrangements to fill out an application.

AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION

Volunteer opportunities: Delegates are needed as advocates for diabetes issues. Delegates help to inform their state and local representatives about issues relating
to diabetes. Training is provided. The Diabetes Association also needs help during various special events and will use volunteers for light office duties. Make a difference in someone's life and volunteer today!

SPRINGFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS We use dentists or hygienists to do the dental checks of our students so they can be referred for dental treatments.  The other areas of need for screenings are checking blood pressure, heights, weights, vision and hearing.  We do this each year at our Health Fairs in September and October for our elementary students.  If anyone is interested in volunteering they can contact me (Clarice Chitwood) at 523-7632 or my email address is cchitwood@spsmail.org.

FAMILY VIOLENCE CENTER

Volunteer opportunities: Assist with the center's children's program, hotline, transportation, shelter relief, or client advocacy. Be part of the Family Violence Center's office support or fund raising and speakers bureau. It only take a few minutes to apply. Call now!

MEALS ON WHEELS

Volunteer opportunities: Drivers are needed to deliver meals to home-bound clients between the times of approximately 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., Meals on Wheels needs your help on a weekly or monthly basis.
